Not bad for 11-year-old Indian American kid prodigy Tanishq Abraham, that graduated from the American River College in Sacramento, California.
He obtained his graduation certification on 20th May 2015, together with levels in Mathematical and Physical Sciences, General Science, and Foreign Language Studies, with a Grade Point Average (GPA) rating of 4.0.
Emblazoned on his graduation cap in which the words"2-Infinity and Beyond" shot from his favorite animation toy Story 2'.
Tanishq Abraham was born in Sacramento, California, the USA in June 2003; his parent's father Bijou Abraham, a software engineer, and mom Taji Abraham, a vet, migrated to America from Kerala, India.
His parents, particularly his mom, noticed that as a toddler he adored children's novels and from age two, he can recall and remember what he read and heard, such as how to tell time around the clock.
At age four he became a member of Mensa, the global society whose sole qualification for membership is a score in the top two percentile of the general population on a standardized intelligence test.
It's reported in Wikipedia that, "Tanishq along with his sister Tiara would be the most popular South Asians (by ethnicity) to join Mensa and one of the youngest Americans at Mensa. To join Mensa, one ought to score above the 98 percentile on a Mensa-approved standardized IQ test. Tanishq scored 99.9 percentile and Tiara scored 99 percentile on the evaluation "
Mensa was only the tip of the iceberg at the career of the young genius, and there was to come. Here's a brief glance at his accomplishments so far: As a five-year-old, he required the mathematics classes provided by Stanford University's Education Program for Gifted Youth (EPGY) in five levels and finished the course in a period of 6 weeks.
At age six, Tanishq is reported to have carried online high school and college courses in areas like chemistry, paleontology, biology, and geology. At age seven, he registered for the Geology and Astronomy classes from the American River College, Sacramento and removed the classes using"A" grades. His prodigious talent was apparent after he expressed his intention to combine with an Astronomy club in his school. As there was not one, his Astronomy professor chose to begin one. Tanishq became its heritage vice-president for those terms 2012-2014, quite an accomplishment for a 9-year-old. In-between, Tanishq completed an online chemistry class from the University of California, Berkley. When he was 8, youthful Tanishq became a part of this venerable Liberal Arts and Science establishment Phi Theta Kappa, and at age 10, he had been chosen Vice-President of Communications to the 2013-2014 term. Musically inclined, Tanishq performs the piano and is a part of a choir group, like most children of the age. He cracks jokes too!
7. Tanishq loves playing chess, table tennis, and golfing. He likes to swim and is enthusiastic about American Soccer, when time allows, he enjoys watching his favorite programs on television.
8. At age 10, Tanishq graduated from high school.
