In 10 he had written over 15 functions, graduated from Los Alamitos High School. He's studied science and mathematics at college level (in the University of Utah) since age seven and has engaged in MIT's well-known Research Science Institute. He then moved to London for violin research using Benjamin Kaplan, research in the Imperial College at London, and graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2008.
By 2005 on Kit Armstrong composed chamber music works for its yearly International Chamber Music Festival The Hague and played their world premières. In recent decades, he's taken inspiration from his mentor Alfred Brendel (at London), who ascribes to him"an understanding of the superb piano works that unites freshness and subtlety, emotion and intellect" Ssimultaneously he's pursuing his scientific research on the sphere of pure mathematics at Pierre and Marie Curie University.
One of his recital jobs this past year was a programme by way of instance etudes from Frédéric Chopin and Ligeti, and J.S. Bach's Inventions and Sinfoniae.
Chamber sound is simply one of Armstrong's fundamental interests, both as a pianist and a composer. He plays frequently with all the Szymanowski String Quartet and Adrian Brendel and resembles a impending lieder recital with Andreas Wolf.
